What happens during a Functional Movement Assessment?
  • We use evidence-based protocols (SFMA or FMS) to test 7–10 fundamental movement patterns like squats, lunges, and reaches. We assess mobility, stability, symmetry, posture and motor control, often with slow-motion video analysis, then explain exactly what’s limiting you and why.

Do I get home exercises after the assessment?
  • Yes – you receive a custom programme via our app with 4–8 targeted exercises, demonstration videos, progressions and reminders so you fix issues quickly and effectively.

Is this only for athletes or can everyday people benefit?
  • Everyone benefits: desk workers with back pain, runners avoiding injury, gym enthusiasts, older adults staying mobile – anyone wanting pain-free, efficient movement.

Will it help stop my recurring injuries?
  • Absolutely. Most repeat injuries come from hidden movement faults. We identify and correct them (e.g. tight hips overloading knees), helping clients finally break the injury cycle.

How should I prepare for the session?
  • Wear comfortable, fitted clothing (shorts/leggings and T-shirt/vest) and trainers if you normally exercise in them. Just turn up ready to move.
